I actually started this blog back in July 2006 because I had recently found out I was pregnant with #4 and I didn't want to tell anyone in real life about the pregnancy until I was about 20 weeks, so I was going to share the details about it here.
Well, then I couldn't figure out how to get back on this blog after my initial post. And sadly, I miscarried at 12 weeks 5 days on September 8th, 2006.
Fast forward to now. It took awhile, but I finally was content again with my three wonderful kids. I got rid of EVERYTHING baby after the miscarriage. I sold the crib, and I gave away the stroller, the carseat, ALL the clothes, my sling, etc., etc. After the miscarriage, my husband didn't want to try again. He recently said that he really didn't want to have another baby. I had to sort of agree with him. I mean, it has been hard to come to terms with never having another baby, especially since I always wanted to have 4 kids. But I'm 41 now, my "baby" is 3, everybody is potty trained, and I just felt ready to move on to the next stage.
So you guessed it. I found out 5 days ago that I'm pregnant again. I'm not telling again, this time not even my husband. I will tell him after I have an amnio and find out if everything is o.k. with the baby. I know that it is probably wrong to not tell him, but I figure why worry him and upset him if this pregnancy just ends in miscarriage anyway? So this pregnancy is just between me and this blog until mid-March.
